So, Senator Jesse Helms, who's wrangled with AIDS activists over funding to fight the disease, has urged for $500 million in AIDS funding. Wow.

this has nothing to do with this post - but a comment you made earlier about the 'trend' for 2002 is minimalist design.
that is SO true. i've been noticing that for the past week or so now (as I've been able to browse some 'hip' websites).
case in point - floodgear.com - the former website of grandiose glory is now minimalist.
same goes for others who have for some reason decided to go minimal.
i find it rather funny how the 'greats' pretty much follow the same pattern.
