Imperialists?

Someone explain to me why soldiers of the apparently "imperialist" American military would be tending to wounded Iraqi civilians?

Or giving water to an Iraqi soldier?

Blood for oil. Yeah, right.

maybe they're just making an attempt at being nice. think of normal rockwell. in the last picture, it looks like the man drinking water has the gun pointed to his head - so much for "you can lead 'em to water, but you can't make 'em drink."

Yeah, that gun bothered me, too, but I figured I'd post the picture anyways and let people interpret it as they like. There's another pic I didn't post though, which shows the Iraqi's screaming in terror moments before the medic is there. For all we know, he was doing that while taking fire.

right on, alio.

what hannah said. soldier have compassion - most of them are human (and for most, this is their first war experience).

that doesn't mean they're not imperialist, though. ;-P
